Small update: I've written nothing. I've been busy working and enjoying my Christmas presents - books and movies. So, I've done no writing whatsoever. I also would like more reviews. I was so excited to have posted something and I only get one review on mediaminer. :( However, I've gotten seven on fanfiction. :D So that's something. I don't get the tremendous imbalance between the two sites, but damn if it doesn't bug me. So, I'm not really motivated to write more write now, although I'm working on that. I have, however, thought of a cute one shot I want to write and post. Whenever I get to that, I guess. Have a great weekend everyone!

Heh heh! I know what you mean. The number of reviews you get on one site can seem so disproportionate to the ones you get on another. What I've usually found to be the case, though, is that more people on FF review one-shots than people on MM. And you should see how hard it is to get reviews on AFF. You're just posting to different audiences, and it takes different things to get them to review.
I know how important reviews are to keep your enthusiasm stoked, but I think you'll find that if you continue to update in a timely manner, your fanbase will grow. People really appreciate knowing that a story isn't being abandoned. And having one complete one under your belt will help readers have more confidence and be more eager to review. Honest. So, please don't get discouraged.
