Feeling the Love

:D I have 9 reviews on fanfiction.net and 4 reviews on mediaminer, plus two more reviews on fanfiction.net on different chapters! So, in all, since the last chapter was posted, I have gotten 15 reviews. FIFTEEN! Holy cow, it has been such a long time since I've gotten so many replies! Woohoo! I feel awesome. I wasn't expecting such a huge response! I've been debating the reason why, so I can, of course, replicate it. :D First, the chapter was 3 whole pages longer than average. That most likely helped, even if just a little. And, I left a cliffhanger again. :D Don't worry all you readers out there who want Kagome to kick some ass, the next chapter she should. :D Granted, it might not work out that way, but I want her to gain some leverage, so here it comes, boy, here - it - comes. :D I also revealed a lot of the past. Not too many people commented on that, so I must wonder if I did as good a job as I wanted. Was it shocking enough? Hm, who knows? Did all of you have it figured out when you read it? I hope not. It seemed new to me. Maybe I'm just behind on the figurative times. Hmm...

Also, I received a flame. It didn't bother me. :D It was like review 7 or 8. At that point, I was kind of on a buzz of goodwill. But the reviewer said she didn't like the smut of chapter 8. Ok, for those of you who don't have the chapter sequence of my story memorized (including me), chapter 8 was the erotic scene where Kagome and Hiei barely made out. ... Need I say more? Really, wait until they get later on to that one much more smutty scene. And they haven't even had sex! My god, it's freaking child's play of the mature world. The reviewer said she didn't expect it, even though I labeled it as M. She thought it would just be violence. Did you read the description of the story? "One dark brooding hotty?" Does this not lead ideas to romance? If not, maybe I should be more blunt and get more readers on here. That would be cool to have happen. Anyways, I couldn't tell how serious the reviewer was, but that was the interpretation I kind of got from it. It wasn't really even mean - I kind of laughed. One, maybe two, out of all my reviews. I consider that damn good. :D So, cool. Good to know a flame doesn't bother me. Course, if I got more, it might.

So anywho, that's all I wanted to say. I felt like I've left enough posts bitching about how few reviews I get, that I just had to gloat that I've gotten more. :D Woot! I haven't started the next chapter yet, simply because a few personal issues cropped up and school suddenly increased its homework. But, I am eager to start after all the reviews, and that is always a good thing. I have the direct next part planned out. :D It should be a doozy. I do not, however, yet know the ending of the chapter. I will be brooding on it for a while, trying to come up with a suitable idea. I have a tiny twist that will be incorporated, and I think I will be going over more of the lost powers thing. Then after that (next chapter), the Jagan thing. I also, this chapter, will be having the lost of the trust issue coming to bite the Spirit Detectives in the ass. :D That should make all of you happy.

Part Two

Ok, so another quick update here. I finished the chapter. I ended exactly on 12 full pages. I wrote some more right after I posted that last post. I think I could have added more to the last flashback/memory sequence, but I didn't really want to. Soooo, I didn't. :D But all these new things keep occurring in formatting. For example, the scene separation dashes won't show up on fanfiction. net. So, I had to try two different ones before they showed up. Also, there are those not-working-character boxes that keep popping up in the story. I'm pretty sure they don't take anything away, but I don't know why they are there. Oh well. Mediaminer's went up ok, but I didn't bother trying to post with Word, I just copied into Notebook. Bummer, that, but hey - the linebreaks work. Oh well. Eventually, I'll get something that works for both again. In the meantime, kind of left it on another cliffhanger. :D Woohoo, I am one nice person. :D Can you guess what happens next? Hehe, I have it somewhat planned out, so the next chapter shouldn't be too long in coming. Just depends on homework. So, read and enjoy. Finally revealed the past. Maybe a bit more to come. We'll see.

I feel the need to write a one-shot again. I have this idea floating around in my head. It's probably been done before, but I haven't seen it anywhere. Of course, I haven't searched it. It's probably there in noncrossover form, but oh well. In fact, I think that will be the next oneshot I will write. It will definitely take a while, since it's kind of emotionally complex. Not even kind of. It just flat out is. I can't wait for it to come to life. :D It will be, of course, Hiei and Kagome. Kudos to that pair.

Still chuggin' along...

Ok, twelve pages and counting. Eventually, it shall be finished. I picked up writing again at about 2:30 am. Obviosuly, that was insane, and I went to bed a half hour later with barely anything added. But, I do know how I'm going to end the chapter. :D Almost there. Can't wait to have everyone read it!

Minor Problem

So, I have this problem. Simple really, I can't pick up the tone of the story in my head enough to write. Simply solved, right?

HA! Anyone know any good death music? Cause that's what I be needing to pick up the damn story again. But on a good note, I already have 9 pages done. So this chapter will end up being slightly longer than normal as soon as I get around to writing it.

I've also been thinking about changing the fic description of Ultimatum. I think suicide in the title really turns everyone off. I kind of knew it would, but didn't have a clear-cut idea of where the story was going to go at the time, so I wrote it anyways. Anyone think of a good description??? Anyone respond??? :D

6 Pages!

6 Pages and counting! Woohoo! I just said how I was going to write more, and I got in this nice groove where I've spat out six pages and am not even close to being done. Cool stuff. I'm revealing a lot of the history right now, giving away some stuff. It's a revelation period. What I'm debating right now is do I go through the entire period in fast forward, or do I skip around. I can't think of the parts that I skip right now coming back to play a vital revelation part. If anything, I'll just repeat a bit of what I'm writing now as a pertinent small flashback. I'm thinking that the past might drag on for a bit, though. And that's not something I want to have happen. We'll have to see how it goes. The mood is kind of squelched right now, so I might not continue until tomorrow. I've a lot of stuff to catch up on though, so I don't know when I'll get back to writing. Oh well. Them's the breaks. Enough for now, maybe I'll have more pages to blog on later.

Much Better

I feel much better now. :D I've gotten more reviews. I forgot to count them before I closed out the sites, so just more. :D Thanks for everyone to reviewing. The last three I got made me want to write more. Hehe. I love leaving cliffhangers. And I must say, I've been telling my sister the plans I have for the past, and she thinks I'm evil. :D I have it all figured out. I didn't just write out of the wall stuff for no reason. :D Woohoo. Death comes early...

I'm going to die from lack of attention! I've gotten only 6 reviews total on both sites! I'm wounded! However, I'm thinking that people just don't have as much time to read during school... I thought everyone was on spring break. Geez. Anywho, felt like getting on here and posting something.

Haven't started writing anything else yet on the next chapter. But, trust me, I have the whole past planned out. :D I'm so excited. It came to me while writing the last chapter. I'm like, oh yeah, that's what's gonna happen. It should throw all of you for a loop, and then add in some anguish. :D Happiness. I was telling my sister and she thought I was dastardly. Good Stuff. I'm liking the reaction to the cliffhanger, too. :D I'm glad I left a good one, since it seemed like the endings had lately been pretty blasé. Hopefully, all of you are ripping hair out in impatience while waiting for the next chapter. :D

Hopefully, I'll write more soon. But truthfully, the lack of huge response has kind of made me depressed about writing. I've gotten so greedy. Enjoy the rest of the week, everyone!

Update

Quick update on the mediaminer situation. I decided to try and copy and paste to notepad and see if I could load that. I did, it worked, and it would upload. So, I uploaded the chapter there. I don't want to have to do t his every time, though, so I'm begging for anyone out there who knows what's going on to heelllllppppppppp meeeeeeeeee!

At least everyone now can see the damn thing. Cool.

Minute Amount of Happiness

I had a minute amount of happiness today. I finished a chapter. Woohoo, yippee, celebrate! My problem? I can't post the damn thing on mediaminer.org. OMG, how freaking ridiculous is that? This is the first chapter I have written using Word 2007, and I think that that is why. It posted ok on fanfiction.net, so people can see it there, but not here. :( I just want to cry! My joy of finally finally finishing a chapter after a very, very long wait is ruined! I have no idea what to do. I'm hoping somebody will see this post and help me. I also signed onto the forum at mediaminer and asked for help. Hopefully, one of you will read it. End of subject, since it makes me sad. :(

On the other hand, I finished a chapter! Woohoo! It took me forever because I got stuck. I decided, as mentioned in an earlier post, that I would just start right in the middle of the chapter on a part that I knew what I wanted to happen. Turns out, that ended up being the beginning. Nothing like smut to start you out. Or at least some erotica stuff. I thought the chapter went well. I'm hoping everybody tells me what they think on this chapter. And I finally decided what happened in the past. :D Turns out, for all of you anyways, I had no idea what happened in the past, just that it was bad. I'm so one of those writers that has no idea what she writes before she writes it. Cool, and bad. :D Oh well. I don't feel like debating the merits between the two styles. So, that's it for this post since mediaminer was a bit of a killjoy. I think I'm altering my style, but I can't really tell. So, if someone could kindly tell me, that would be awesome. :D Review here, too. Not just on fanfiction - since mediaminer isn't working for me, it isn't gonna be on this list.
