Good News

Good news, I started writing the other day - Tuesday, I believe it was. I procrastinated studying for a test tomorrow, incidentally. I tried something different this time, and it helped me get past the writer's block I had going. I knew where I wanted to kind of end the chapter, so that was where I started. I started that scene, and got through a good chunk of it. Good stuff. Now, the chapter is far from done - I only had a short bit of time in between classes, but it is started. I'm getting caught up on homework, so hopefully this will follow. :D Just had to let everyone know that.

No, I am not dead...

... I swear, I'm not. However, I might as well be with how much I haven't been writing. I haven't even started the next chapter. I think I might have written myself into a slight corner, as I have no idea where I want to go with the story right now. And then, I have been busy. The perpetual excuse. School has been a major pain in the butt. My goal this week is to get caught up on all the shit I'm behind on for school, and then, with this weekend free, to write. So, I'm off to do that now. I apologize for the long wait. :( I'm working on it. In the meantime, go read a real book. A whole bunch just came out today!

Heheh - I have thought of the perfect way to end the next chapter. As soon as I can get my act together and write it, you all shall know my glee. I got a review stating that Kagome is kind of weak. Yeah, I agree. I don't particularly like it either. It got me to thinking, how do I strengthen her character? Hm. I thought and thought and thought myself into a corner. And, tadah! I thought of the perfect way to show she isn't as soft as people think. :D I can't wait till you all see it. Here's hoping I can write it well enough. Wish me luck! And by god, review here and there! Give me ideas, criticism, love, anything! I'll even sit and discuss books. Like Laurell K Hamilton and Anita Blake. The best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And her newest book is coming out JUNE THIRD!!! JUNE! I can't wait! See, I can sit and rant and rave! Name a character - except Richard, cause we just won't go there. :D Review!

Slow Week

It's been a slow week for writing, but a fast week for everything else. So far, I've bombed my goal of writing everyday, but I aced a French test, got new glasses, worked on Wednesday, went to the dentist Thursday, attended two martial arts classes, and attended classes, and an interview Tuesday. I also had a test on Monday, a test on Tuesday, a test on Friday, a test next Wednesday. Dang, talk about a lot of work. But, good news for me, not necessarily you guys, I have been exercising every day; a minute amount, but every day. That itself is a huge accomplishment. Cool stuff. Once I get around adding exercise and getting caught up on school work, I'm adding writing to the schedule. I just have to slowly learn how to manage better. In the mean time, I'm writing in spare moments that just magically appear. :D Problem is, right now, I have no motivation to write. I don't know what to do with the next chapter. Torture scene with Keiko? Revelation of the spider? Bring in more characters? What, what, what? I think I need to put in a teaser for the past. That sounds good. And then, we need some Kagome/Hiei interaction. Smut? Fighting? Both? Hehe. They are sleeping together in the same house for some reason I throw together, and they have this highly erotic scene, and wake the entire house up with their fighting. Oh yeah, good stuff. I can see it now. In fact, I'm going to write what I'm seeing when I get the chance, so no telling you the awesome picture going through my little brain. I need to throw you guys for a whirl. Right now, I think everyone is just like, yeah, ok, nothing big just happened. I want you all to go NO, WHY, WHAT NEXT??? So, anyone have any good ideas for a really good cliff hanger, like maybe right in the middle of an attack or something. 'Cept that would be evil-like... Hm... For those few of you who view this, find it in yourself to comment on my blog and tell me what you all think. I accept anonymous, so you don't have to have an account. Please. Finally!

I finally posted! It took a while, but I did it. It was easier than normal because I was ready to write, and I already had a jumpstart of three pages. Woot! I deleted a tinsy bit of what I wrote before because that direction just wasn't working, and then I moved forward with a goal in mind of what I wanted to get done. Got it done! Cool. I can't wait for comments and reviews. I've been missing them. Hopefully, this will get me focused back on writing. One can always hope. Anyways, this will have to be short. I don't have much else to say anyways. Have a great night, everyone!
